Of late, I’ve been wondering whether or not life always should be linked to a form.
For instance, the inner world is rife with life that has not manifested itself as matter in the outside world. Does depicting such life forms on canvas and paper make me a creator, or am I a reporter shedding light on non-materialised life I encounter on my travels?
I don’t know. To me, the inner world beings seem MORE real than the outer world, even without form. I confess I WANT to give them a place to be, in my work – more so in my images than in my words – but it’s entirely possible they themselves do not NEED such exposure.
Still, it is fun imagining the beings I captured in my “Tree of Life” drawing – now available in my store – telling me they are pleased with the result.
