Emily Dickinsons poem “Heaven Has Different Signs – to me” firmly connects the concept of heaven with nature, which in her time may well have been a solid statement against too rigid religious beliefs. I’m no scholar, so bear with me.

I like that connection. Nature is by far the best element of the outer world we, with our vast inner worlds, have created.

Yup, I’m one for the “consciousness creates matter” camp, though I am no fan of the idea that we can create a better world by just visualizing it. There always are hitches and snags. Sadly, many conscious beings use their power to create stuff distracting from heaven nature.

For example, on one of my recent walks I discovered somebody had acted on a memo in his inner world (probably left there by The Joker), stating “there must be more clarity for the road ahead”.

And now, every time I pass one of these old kilometre markers, I am confronted with the silly matter resulting from that silly memo.

It’s just not fair.
