This is peace as I witnessed it when we visited the beaches of Normandy.
It was interesting to see so many fast-food gobbling people, mostly overweight, smartphone or tablet at hand, cheerfully surveying the site where decades ago brave men lost their lives.
Are we entitled to use our so-called freedom any which way we want? Are we not obliged to take care of our bodies, nurture our souls, understand earth and its limits (our limits) better?
Peace should be all over the place. It should not be our pet project, a digital high five sent from the very place where freedom found its bearings.
