I’ve decided to alternatively work on White on Black text-and-drawings, and random stain watercolours. There are many more forms of art I want to explore, but that will have to wait. (I may do some more collages though.)
As I explained on the Etsy listing for this watercolour (here), these drawings comes about when I empty myself of any residual thought. Then I tap into the stream of images in the back of my mind. I have to work fast, ideally finish before the Thinking Cap has manouvered itself back into place.
The stains themselves I make beforehand. I do a bunch of them, on a quiet evening, after I’ve meditated for a while to get into the right state of mind.
(PS Finished the first round of revision on the novel. Next stage is that I go through it, just reading, A to Z, in one go. And then the manuscript is off to my designated readers. I’m already making some inquiries after contacts at publishing companies. It may take a while before it gets published, but I am prepared to go that extra length.)
